PXT Creator Studio can publish your finished carousel straight to TikTok — no exporting images and re-uploading them slide by slide. This guide covers connecting your account and posting your first carousel.

Step 1: Connect your TikTok account

The first time you publish, you'll connect your TikTok account:

  1. In the editor, click Publish and choose TikTok.
  2. You'll be sent to TikTok's official sign-in page to authorize PXT. This uses TikTok's standard OAuth flow — PXT never sees your password.
  3. Approve the permissions and you'll be returned to the editor. Your account stays connected for future posts.

You only need to do this once. To connect a different account later, manage it from your account settings.

Step 2: Review your slides

Before publishing, do a final pass:

  • Confirm every slide is framed at 9:16 and text sits inside the safe zone.
  • Check the slide order — the first slide is your hook and also your cover.
  • Keep the set to 6–10 slides for the best completion rate.

Step 3: Publish

Click Publish → TikTok, then:

  1. Add your caption and hashtags (3–5 relevant tags works well).
  2. Choose your cover slide.
  3. Set your audience and any TikTok posting options.
  4. Click Post.

Your carousel is sent directly to TikTok. Depending on your account settings, it will either go live immediately or land in your TikTok drafts for a final check in the app.

Troubleshooting

  • "Reconnect your account" — TikTok authorizations expire periodically. Just click Publish again and re-authorize.
  • Post didn't appear — check your TikTok drafts and notifications; TikTok may hold some uploads for review before they go live.
  • Prefer to post manually? You can always download your slides as images and upload them in the TikTok app instead.

Once connected, publishing future carousels takes a single click — design in PXT, post to TikTok, done.

Posting manually instead? How to post a photo carousel on TikTok covers the in-app route step by step. And before you publish either way, check your text against the safe zone.
